Designed for Significance

This weekend, as  I picked the most luscious blueberries  ever known to man,  I thought about how happy the simple task made me.  Everything about the blueberries was excellent. Plump and sweet in a well-tended orchard; they were stellar examples of the best of blueberries.

That got me thinking about people who are stellar at what they do; people whose lives speak of excellence.  Those who make their “work” look easy because they’re designed for it.

Finding that place of productivity – where your combination of talents, experience, gifts and passion converge – will produce remarkable fruit.  The superb blueberries I picked didn’t have to struggle to be  great blueberries – that’s what they were created and designed for.  Granted, proper cultivation multiplied the size of the harvest.  But their significance was built into their design.  So is yours.
