On Top of the Mountain

That's my husband at the top - the climb is harder when you want the best view.

On a clear day, you can see forever.

My husband and I took two days to meet with Slingshot Success partner Becky Harmon and her husband this weekend.
We sharpened our pencils and thoughts as we did strategic planning with a 5 year vision, broken down into increments. We now know specifics of our goals, broken down by the quarter – through 2012. It’s exhilarating!

As we accelerate into the holiday season and all the activities it holds, I encourage you to take at least a day to look back and learn- then look forward and yearn. It’s good for the soul.

I’m the first to tell you that if you show up to work on any given morning without a plan, you’re unemployed – for all practical purposes. This truth is even more applicable when you enter a new season or a new year!

We wrapped up our weekend in Pine Mountain with a vigorous hike on the beautiful “Wolf Den Trail” in FDR State Park.
Great memories and a worthwhile investment in strategic relationships.

On a clear day, you can see forever!
